Cracking The RESPONSIBILITY Code
Have you ever got 100 dollars in your childhood? How happy you were when you received the money?
Suppose I give the same cash to a young adult. That money would not be enough, right!!
When I was a kid, 1$ would make my day. Now, 1$ is nothing great!
The money is the same, but the responsibilities of an adult and a child are different.
The money remains the same in every situation, but our responsibilities make it different.
To a child, 100 dollars are more than enough to enjoy a whole month with his friends. The same money to a family man is nothing special to him.
Earning money doesn’t make a person happy instead, the person’s responsibilities determine the happiness in his life.
If the person has lots of responsibilities but earns significantly less money, he might not be a happy person. If a college student goes to a part-time job and makes even half of the average mid 30s guy’s savings, he might live the best college life.
The responsibilities can change a person’s life.
The student from a well-off family doesn’t go through many problems in his life. He is free from his responsibilities. He has to travel only to his college and come back home, whereas a student from a lower background has to meet many commitments like college fees and living expenses.
Now, If 100 dollars is given to both of them. The former spends it in a single go. The latter will save it because he needs it at a later time.
The dress which both of them wear is also different. The life which they choose is also different. Their friends, moral values, and goals are also very different.
The responsibilities of the people determine the person’s character and core values. The person’s more responsibilities, the more mature and values the person develops.
A child needs to be given responsibilities at an early age. As a child become responsible at an early age, learns the meaning of life and can distinguish between the needs and luxury.
Being cool and stress-free is acceptable at some point, but all this without having a purpose in life is useless, and purpose is only found through taking responsibility.
People’s commitment teaches the deeper meaning of life, which is the actual meaning of living a life.
Not the coolness or luxury makes us a great person. Responsibility makes us great.
Our sacrifices define us.
We should always add meaning to life and live as inspiration to others.
